Day 8, Brugge and Donderdang
Donderdag Jan 13, from Ferenc
We just got back from Brugge, which is a small walled town in Belgium that has escaped world wars and and other ravages of time, and remains a fairy tale mideaval town. It has a central church with a bell tower that can be climbed all the way to the top (336 steps straight up in a tight spiral staircase). Jono, Jeff and I went, Jeremy took the day off. We travelled by train and bus, proud of ourselves for negotiating the public transportation. Not many specifics, other than we marvelled at the endless well placed pavers, and circuitous ancient roads. Can you tell I have been hanging out with Jono and his exceptional vocabulary?
Gert is coming at 7:30 tonight, our show is fairly local. He called today to say that the Friday show might be cancelled as the club went under, so hopefully we can dig up anoither gig.
